The teaching team at Caper comprise an amazing group of individuals hand-picked for their rapport with their students and commitment to making their classes inspiring and educational.

Click on each teacher for a brief biography. We are proud of the combined qualifications, teaching expertise and professional performance experience. However what we can't communicate in a simple biography is their wonderful personalities and humility and warmth they exude. Our teachers care to ensure all students feel pride in their achievements and that their skills progress and confidence blooms. Our teachers work with parents at Caper to ensure the whole family feels welcomed and supported.

We are extremely proud of our staff retention rates. We have several teachers who have been employed at Caper for ten years or more. The benefits this continuity provides our students are immeasurable. Furthermore many teachers undertook the bulk of their dance training at Caper, meaning they have not only received a high standard of tuition but also are special members of the Caper community and have grown up with our values and ethos.
Natalie Brock a highly regarded teacher, earning distinctions from the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) for her Advanced Teaching Certificate and High Distinction for Level 12 Vaganova with the Australian Institute of Classical Ballet. Natalie is also an RAD mentor, in this role she mentors up and coming student teachers in conjunction with the RAD. Natalie has been teaching at Caper since 2008 and is also the Director of Ace Dance Events.

Emilia Brunetto has a Certificate IV in Dance and has trained in all styles of dance and acrobatics. Emilia completed her RAD exams up to Intermediate with Distinction. She has also completed up to the highest level in Glenn Wood Tap (awarded 100% after being personally examined by Glenn Wood). Emilia's Musical Theatre credits include Mamma Mia! with Packemin Productions. Emilia has been a Caper teacher since 2014 and first joined the Caper community in 2003 - the school's foundation year.
Caitlin is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Dance (Performance) at the Academy of Music & Performing Arts. She began her training at the age of 4 and has spent most this at Caper studying Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Musical Theatre, Contemporary, Lyrical & Hip Hop. Caitlin has performed at The Australian Dance Festival, Project Pink and Shows such as Impetus, Fusion, Eclipse & Elysium. Recently she choreographed her first original work "Forbidden". Caitlin has been teaching at Caper since 2018.

Tegan Flaherty has a Bachelor Degree in Dance Practice from ACPE and is currently studying her second degree (Bachelor of Education at Macquarie University). Tegan is trained in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, RAD Ballet (Intermediate with Distinction) and GWT Tap. Tegan has reached the highest level in GWT Tap and in this level was awarded 100% personally by Mr Glenn Wood! Tegan has been teaching at Caper since 2014 and is also a former Caper student herself (enrolled in 2007).
Riley has trained in all styles of dance, musical theatre, acrobatics and RAD Ballet where she attained Intermediate Grade with Distinction. Riley’s competitive dance experience includes group and solos at the national level performing in Queensland, the Opera House and Australian Dance Festival. Riley attended Northmead Performing Arts High School and received the honour of callbacks for her HSC pieces. Riley has been teaching at Caper since 2017 and also studies Business at University.

Kate Rodwell started teaching at Caper in 2008 and is a dance teacher, GWT Examiner and adjudicator. She has well rounded training having studied many styles of dance and performance including Certificate IV in Performing Arts, RAD exams, tap under the tuition of Glenn Wood, AMEB exams in singing and piano. I’m her early years, Kate was involved in many facets of media including television, film and print. Kate has a passion for teaching and loves seeing her students achieve their goals.
Krystyna trained at Caper in all dance styles including consistently achieving the highest grade in her exams. Krystyna has successfully competed in troupes and solos at prestigious competitions with performances at Disneyland, Jupiter’s Queensland and Sydney Opera House. She studied Dance at HSC level and was also a member of LOcREaDO Dance Company. Krystyna is currently studying a Bachelor of Sport Science UTS to develop knowledge on anatomy for dancers & has been a Caper teacher since 2017.

Lyndall has been teaching professionally at many recognised dance schools across NSW for 6 years. She also has a Diploma in Dance and Performing arts through Ev &Bow Fulltime Training Centre as well as a Cert IV in Performance and Choreography with Ettingshausens Fulltime Training. Lyndall has been trained in all dance styles including jazz, tap, lyrical, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, JFH and latin. Lyndall first joined Caper in 2020.
