We believe that the key to nurturing a student’s love for performing arts is to provide them with opportunities to perform on stage. Caper offers exciting and varied performance opportunities aimed at fostering our students’ love of dance. These events become special occasions and treasured memories for the whole family.

Caper students are a regular attraction at many community events and a wide cross section of Caper students are given the opportunity to perform at these shows. Each year we stage a show at Darling Harbour for all our school-age jazz students. We also have our Annual Concert that features all our students.

Caper kids are also regulars at the Royal Easter Show, Crestwood Fair and the Orange Blossom Festival. However lots of fun performances are scheduled each year including charity events, sports games and community concerts. All performance opportunities are optional.

Whilst participation in shows is spread out to include as many students as possible, Caper also has dedicated performance groups consisting of students who are selected to represent the school at competitions and high profile events.

Caper has a proud history of success at competitions. Students compete in every age category across multiple genres and attend some of the most renowned eisteddfods on the Eastern seaboard. Caper also has a team of soloists who have established themselves as prize getters in prestigious competitions.
