REP TEAM

Caper also has a separate representative dance team (Rep Team) where the focus is on representing the school at dance competitions. Members of the representative team are handpicked by their teachers for their enthusiasm, motivation and ability. Rep Team members have a proud history of success – Caper came first at their first ever eisteddfod in 2003 and have not looked back since. Rep Team students train each week for their competition routine however undertake many other classes including acrobatics and technique to retain their competitive edge. Caper had 39 first place results in 2010 for group competitions alone as well as many other “seconds” and “thirds” and highly commended results. SOLOS

A very small number of students are selected each year to represent Caper as soloists in competitions. Caper soloists have acheived great success on the solo circuit including winning solo sections and championship sections at the Sydney Eisteddfod.
