Congratulations to Emily for acheiving first place in the 11u solo open jazz at All County Talent Eisteddfod on the weekend. Also a big congrats to Alannah for receiving 2nd place in the restricted 11u solo jazz section!

EXCITING WEEKEND!
Sunday 7 May
The Caper kids had an exciting weekend. The 8u Jazz Rep students came first at the Hills DAnce Eisteddfod and the 10u Jazz Rep students achieved first in the both the Hills Dance Eisteddfod and the Northern Beaches Eistedfod! The 12u Jazz Rep students represented Caper at the Kids Carnival at UNSW and our soloists performed beautifully at Dynamic Dance Festival. Congratulations also to our solo team on the following results:

MADDI MODELS AT FROCKS ON THE ROCKS
Tuesday 1 May
Maddi modelled at Frocks on the Rocks on the weekend for the first time. This was a great opportunity provided by the Electric Safari team at Jeep Management. Go Maddi!

ACROBATICS WORKSHOPS
Wednesday 18 April
Join us at the Caper acrobatics workshops tomorrow (Thursday 19 April). There is a class for students aged 11 & up from 3:00-4:00pm, and a class for students from 6-10yrs from 5:00-6:00pm.

CAITLIN TAPS AWAY!
Tuesday 17 April
Congratulations to Caitlin for acheiving Highly Commended with her tap solo at Sutherland Shire Dance Eisteddfod. It was a tough section and only one place was given out, which means Caitlin ranked second in the group!

STREETDANCE 3D & JUSTICE CREW
Thursday 12 April
Caper received free tickets to the advance screening of 'Street Dance 3D' which also included a special performance from Justice Crew! TAP EXAM VIDEOS & STUDY GUIDES

BALLET EXAM NOTES
Tuesday 10 April
Ballet exam notes are now available in the Members Area. We have updated information for the Intermediate Foundation students, and also have a note confirming study rehearsals. In particular the note confirms which study (free movement, tarantella or classical) each student is doing.

Friday 23 March
Caper students represented our studio's standard at the western sydney regional dance-off camp through their primary schools. Thank you to Alannah, Caitlyn, Emily, Grace, Kaleisha, Lauren, Riley and Tyla for doing us proud! Congratulations to Alannah, Emily, Kaleisha and Tyla for being selected to the Pulse troupe. They were among 10 out of 110 children chosen. How exciting! What a great proportion of Caper kids!

A GREAT WEEKEND!
Monday 19 March
Wow! What a great weekend at Caper! Jackson acheived another first place result, this time with his fast tap solo at Ooh La La Dance Extravaganza. Our tap exam students and rep jazz students also danced up a storm at the Boot Camp. Thank you to Sarah for the delicious Caper cookies she made - it kept up energy levels up! ALEENA @ SHOWCASE
Tuesday 24 January
Congratulations to Aleena for beautiful performances at the Showcase National Dance Championships. Aleena was placed in the top 20 of finalists for Dancer of the Year, came 2nd in her tap solo and 5th in her ballet solo!
TANNOS & CHOICE WORKSHOP
