OFFICE OPENING HOURS

The Caper office is open between 9:00am - 1:00pm weekdays.

STUDIO OPENING HOURS

The studio is only open whilst classes are conducted as the majority of administration is done off-site. Please refer to the timetable for the hours we operate from the studios.  Please be aware that the reception desk closes for payments at least half an hour before the last class finishes. This is for staff scheduling and security purposes.

ENROLMENT

Annual enrolment is compulsory at Caper as it secures your place in the class and covers the cost of merit system (ie. stamps, stickers, trophies, certificates, etc). Enrolment must be paid after your free trial lesson to secure your position in the class. Please refer to the fee policy for the enrolment fees.

TRIAL LESSON

New students are encouraged to attend a free trial lesson, to book in your lesson please contact us

If you wish to change your class or withdraw from a class you are required to notify the Caper office via email. Once you have enrolled in a class for the term you will owe fees on this class for the entire term. For instance, if you withdraw from a class during the term, you are committed to pay for the entire term. To change classes we require 4 weeks notice before the new term starts (usually week 8 of the term prior).

WAITING LIST

If the class you are interested in has no vacancies, you may opt to go on a waiting list. There is no fee to go on the waiting list and you will be notified when a space becomes available. Vacancies arise only when a current student discontinues or swaps classes. As a result we cannot predict or guarantee whether a space will become available. Current Caper students and their siblings are given priority on the waiting list. If you are on a waiting list in 2011 it does not give you any preference or priority for 2012 classes.

DISCONTINUING CLASSES MID-YEAR

STUDIO RULES

By enrolling or attending a trial class at Caper, all students and their families are expected to adhere to the school rules in the aid of keeping the studio a happy and cohesive environment for all:

• No food containing nuts can be bought into the studio or to Caper events by a parent, student or sibling.
• By entering the premises you accept that there may be risks inherent in attending or participating in the events or activities held in the venue. Therefore Caper School of Performing Arts is released from any responsibility or legal liability from your attendance or partcipation in an event or activtie or by the actions or negligence of other persons presentParents, students and siblings are not permitted inside the dance studios unless accompanied by Caper staff.
• Before and after class, students are expected to be supervised by their parents.
• Teacher supervision extends only to students in class.Students and their parents are liable for any damages caused to studio property.
• All students must be up to date in their fee payments or they will be prevented in participating in Caper events (such as concerts, exams and shows) and will risk their enrolment being terminated.
• During your child’s tuition at Caper, they may be photographed. These photographs may then be used for promotional or archival purposes or published on the school’s website. Your consent is assumed unless you advise Caper staff otherwise when you enrol.
